Dataphoria Completes €335,000 Second Funding Round Led by Investing for Purpose
Two new Partners strengthen the leadership team as Dataphoria turns ESG and impact data into business value, with a focus on SMEs and investment funds

Dataphoria, the Greek SaaS platform that transforms ESG and impact data into business value, has completed a second funding round of €335,000, led by Investing for Purpose (IFP), with the participation of a group of angel investors.
With this round, the total capital raised by Dataphoria since its founding has exceeded €600,000. The company’s first funding round, three years earlier, was also led by IFP. Between the two rounds, Dataphoria focused on developing software that demonstrates the business value of ESG and how this translates in practice into sales and access to financing.
Dataphoria focuses simultaneously on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and the funds that invest in them. Funds gain a clear view of the sustainability potential and performance of companies within their portfolios, while the businesses themselves gain access to growth and financing opportunities through sustainability.
In this way, capital can work more efficiently across the economy, directing resources to where climate and social action can generate the greatest business value.
The platform is currently used by three Greek investment funds, as well as by more than 60 companies within their portfolios. These include Halcyon Equity Partners, Uni.Fund and Investing for Purpose. Dataphoria also works with dozens of independent Greek SMEs.
The company also announced an expansion of its leadership team. Co-founders Anastasis Stamatis, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and Fenya Sourla, Chief Operating Officer (COO) & Sustainability, are joined by two new Partners: Dimitris Stubos, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & Senior Advisor, and Panos Bechrakis, Chief Growth Officer (CGO), bringing international expertise and extensive experience to the team.
Dimitris Stoumbos built his career in Canada in senior financial and management roles, guiding a number of companies through growth and successful exits via private equity and public markets. Panos Bechrakis brings nearly 20 years of commercial experience, including a decade in global marketing roles in the United States. Over the past year, he led Dataphoria’s repositioning in the market: from a compliance tool to a platform through which SMEs and funds can clearly identify the business value and ROI generated by ESG. He is also one of several investors participating in this funding round, demonstrating the team’s own confidence in the company’s proposition for the ESG market.
The new capital will be deployed across three key areas: expanding the commercial team, further automating the platform using AI technology, and developing partnerships with investment funds outside Greece.
“The new economy is built when sustainability reaches the balance sheet: when an SME gains a new customer and when a fund can clearly see where value is being created across its portfolio. Today, a positive-impact company has received a vote of confidence from the market, precisely because Dataphoria generates impact through business value. Climate and social action can only achieve scale when it also makes business sense for those implementing it,” said Anastasis Stamatis, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and co-founder of Dataphoria.
Richard Mullane, partner at IFP, said “We are delighted to be leading this second round of funding for Dataphoria, one of the very first companies we chose to support in the sustainability sector in Greece. They continue to refine and adapt their business model to evolving market dynamics and to strengthen and deepen their management team. We look forward to supporting them through this next phase of growth”.
