About the Role
We're looking for a passionate Sustainability Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of sourcing, cleansing, and analyzing extensive datasets related to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) metrics. Your work will be integral in shaping sustainability strategies for our clients and contributing to the creation of informative dashboards and reporting procedures that provide actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Source, cleanse, and analyze large datasets related to ESG metrics.
Design and manage robust data pipelines for ingesting and processing sustainability data, ensuring its seamless integration into the Dataphoria platform.
Collaborate with our team to align data insights with business objectives, integrating sustainability metrics into broader operations.
Develop and maintain real-time sustainability dashboards, focusing on data accuracy and actionable insights.
Support application development by building innovative features on top of our sustainability data systems.
Stay abreast of the latest trends in sustainability and data science, adopting new methodologies to enhance our platform.
Effectively communicate complex data insights to various stakeholders, engaging in client meetings and presentations.
Requirements
Proven experience in data science, with a focus on sustainability or related fields.
Proven experience with real-time data processing and dashboard development.
1-2 years of experience in a related position.
Strong knowledge of Python and SQL.
Proficiency in using tools such as Plotly Dash, Power BI, Databricks, Azure, and GitHub.
Strong skills in data management, analysis, and visualization.
Ability to translate complex data insights into understandable terms.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, comfortable in client-facing roles.
